How is Sculptra different from dermal filler?

Filler places a product to create volume immediately. Sculptra stimulates your own body to produce collagen, so the volume that appears is your own and it develops over months rather than on the day. If you want a gradual, natural change rather than an instant result, Sculptra is very often the better answer.

How long will it last?

A minimum of 25 months, which makes it one of the longest-lasting treatments we offer.

Is there any downtime?

No. This is one of the reasons patients like it — the change is gradual and there is nothing to recover from.

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes. Sculptra is a considered, longer-term treatment and we will always want to plan it properly with you, including how many sessions you are likely to need and over what timeframe.
