Peels work by lifting away dull, tired surface cells to reveal fresher skin underneath — so alongside the glow, you get real smoothness and a proper deep exfoliation. They can help with a range of concerns: hyperpigmentation, dullness, uneven texture, fine lines, blemishes and enlarged pores.

A one-off peel is a great way to give your complexion a boost, or to kick-start a new skincare regime. As with all skincare, consistency is key, so a course of three sessions is often recommended. This is not always necessary, and we will discuss what your skin actually needs at consultation.

Every peel we offer is medical-grade rather than enzyme-based. Your options are the Obagi Blue Peel Radiance, the Jalupro Glow Peel and the BioRePeel — each has its own strengths, so it is best to talk through in person which would suit you.

A Dermalux LED light therapy session is recommended afterwards to enhance your results.

The treatment

What to expect

Little to no downtime, just some flaking. You may look a little red or flushed on the day, depending on your skin sensitivity. Gentle flaking usually begins around day 3 and lasts an average of three days, though this varies with skin type. Your results will look their best from day 7 onwards, when skin is at its smoothest and most radiant.

Before your treatment

Please avoid sunbeds, skin acids and retinoids for five days beforehand.

Do you have any spread the cost payment plans?

Yes, we offer Go Cardless (where you can add a payment amount of your choosing every month, to then use against any products or treatments in clinic). It can be cancelled at anytime.
