Who we are
The Arter Clinic, Court Business Park, Hampton Bishop, Hereford, HR1 4FU, is the data controller for the personal information we hold about you.
What we collect
Your contact details, your full medical history, details of the treatments you have had, clinical photographs, consent records, and payment records.
Why we hold it
To provide your care safely, to meet our professional and legal obligations as registered healthcare practitioners, and to keep the clinical records our insurer and regulators require.
Our lawful basis
For clinical records, we rely on the provision of health care under Article 9(2)(h) of the UK GDPR. For marketing, we rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
Adult clinical records are kept electronically and password protected, for a minimum of eight years from the date of the last entry.
Who we share your data with
Our clinical team and clinic coordinator are bound by a confidentiality clause. Our team have shared access to the patient management system which stores clinical notes and details about our patients, viewed on a need-to-know basis only. This is currently with Aesthetic Nurse Software system.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have inaccuracies corrected, to object to certain processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
