Dermal Fillers
Facial balancing
Sometimes we feel unbalanced, or feel we have lost softness, and may even look like a tired version of ourselves — but you cannot pinpoint exactly why. Beautiful and seamless results often derive from our full-facial balancing approach, also known as bespoke facial balancing. This does not mean a full face of filler. Instead, it allows us to analyse your full face in motion, and identify the areas which can be subtly enhanced, so that results blend seamlessly and elegantly.

The skill of full-face balancing has been honed from eight-plus years of injecting experience, masterclass training across the UK, and in-person training with world-renowned aesthetics doctor and trainer, Dr Gardell. The full-face balancing approach allows for micro-droplets of dermal filler, precisely placed into hollowed areas or along larger contours to disguise sagging, or to beautify existing contours and enhance features. This treatment is also covered by ultrasound guidance, to aid safety and accuracy.
Every treatment is completely bespoke, and is guided by a thorough pre-consultation. Dermal filler is often thought of negatively, when overdone and poorly crafted images come to mind. We instead create a natural-look enhancement, where you will leave feeling immediately refreshed and beautifully balanced, with very long-lasting results.
The treatment
Individual facial areas
Perhaps instead it is one detail of your face where you have noticed a deeper fold or line, or one specific area you would like to re-contour and beautify. Here are the individual areas which can be treated with dermal filler.
Perioral lines (also known as smokers lines).
A soft premium filler is integrated into the delicate skin surrounding the lips, where static lines form — and yes, these appear in non-smokers just as much, and are a normal sign of ageing. The technique works rather like an airbrush, aiming to soften and significantly reduce these lines without any bulk. The fine filler is blended into the lip border, adding a little hydration to the lip body without volumising it, for an instantly anti-ageing effect. One of our most popular treatments.
Classic lips
Up to 1ml of premium dermal filler for a youthful, hydrating boost, or to add gentle volume and perfect the shape. A classic needle technique with a soft filler, giving quick and long-lasting beautification.
Cheeks
The mid and lateral cheek, the apples and cheekbones, can be instantly enhanced and softened, addressing hollowness, skin dehydration and improved contour. Results are immediate and last a minimum of one year. One to two millilitres are generally recommended, but this will be guided by your consultation.
Lower face
This covers everything below the cheeks: the jawline, marionette lines, nose-to-mouth lines and chin. Your consultation will determine the best option for you, and both needle and cannula techniques may be used to maximise your results. We select fillers with high cohesivity here, to ensure both quality and longevity.
Tear trough (under eyes)
Dermal filler placed to address the tear trough groove, helping the appearance of hollowness and sometimes of dark circles, for a refreshed look where the eyes have been reading as tired. We use the Swedish technique; an advanced approach treating the tear trough both medially and laterally, with the filler placed in a deep plane of the face, which helps reduce the chance of migration or of product showing on animation. You may require two variants of filler type, injected precisely via cannula. Suitability is assessed carefully at consultation, as this area is not right for everybody.
Temples
An advanced technique addressing hollowness in the temples, creating facial balance and an illusion of lift. The temples can hollow with age or after rapid weight loss, and treating them can also help reduce the appearance of heaviness in the lower face.
Reversing filler
Dermal filler is hyaluronic acid, which means it can be dissolved and reversed using an injectable enzyme called hyaluronidase. This is a prescription medicine, so a face-to-face consultation with our nurse prescriber, Caz, is mandatory before the treatment can be carried out. Where appropriate, we use ultrasound guidance to map existing product before dissolving. If you would like your filler dissolved, please schedule a consultation first.
Comfort
Topical numbing cream is used prior to all injectable treatments.
